Welcome to The Golden Note!

Welcome to the new and improved Marcos De Niza Band Website!  We call it the "Golden Note" because of our commitment to the highest form of music excellence.  You can find all the information you need for staff contacts, band classes, upcoming events, and even media like pictures, video, and audio recordings of the band program.  If you are a new member, register under the "LOGIN" menu and fill out the New Student Form under the "FORMS" menu.  Direct all website questions to our Webmaster, Dina De Leon, ddeleon05@gmail.com.  All other band inquiries, contact Cheryl Shumate, (cheryl.shumate@mac.com) Band Boosters President, or Mr. Erickson, Director of Bands.

Padre Pride Band Program - Mission Statement

We, the proud members of the 2011-2012 MDN Padre Pride Band Program, believe in striving for the highest through "first class" attitude. Our unified band family creates a safe and positive atmosphere for developing our musical and life skills, thus preparing us for the future.  We focus on the task on hand with a passionate sense of urgency and a desire for excellence.

Dear friends,

Marcos de Niza band needs your help!  It will cost you nothing and take only a minute or two daily for two weeks from October 1st to October 15th. 

 The Marcos de Niza band boosters, Parents Supporting Children and Their Music, Inc. have an exclusive chance to win an Albertsons Grant for $5000.  The decision is based on how many votes each organization gets.  So if we can get the most people involved to vote daily, we have a good chance of winning this grant.


 To vote, follow these easy instructions,
1. Go to www.albertsonscpchallenge.com and log in, by entering your email address.
2. If this is your first time to the site, you will be taken to the e-mail verification page.
3. Once your e-mail is verified you can login and vote using just your e-mail, five times each day.
4. Enter Charity Code # 0695 in the upper left hand corner, click go.
5. When you see our entry, click on VOTE.

You can vote up to five times per day from October 1st through October 15th. We are competing against many groups, so please take the time to vote five times every day.
